The Rotary club carries out a range of activities with young people to bring out their talents and recognise their achievements. These include:
SHOWCASING YOUNG PEOPLE'S SKILLS:
The Club is pleased to support a number of competitions involving pupils from local secondary schools - Young Chef, Young Musician and Young Photographer. School competitions are held to select their winner and then the Club holds competitions to judge pupils to go forward to the District final. Some of our pupils have gone further to Regional finals. The standard is always remarkably high.
In addition the Club holds Spelling Competitions for local primary schools and, recently one for a secondary school for Key Stage 3 pupils.
